I'd like to bring back a bit of Australian honey to make a gallon or two of mead once I get back home. Does anyone know of some good varietals of honey I may be able to find here which wouldn't be available in the states? Also does anyone know if it is a problem to get multiple pounds of honey back into the States through customs? Thanks everyone Kevin Kurkul ------------------------------ Subject: Re: Mead Lover's Digest #1461, 5 March 2010 From: Bob Date: Tue, 9 Mar 2010 08:54:44 -0500 The acid in your stomach is Hydrochloric acid NOT sulfuric acid... doesn't change the conclusion. :-) Subject: Re: Mead Lover's Digest #1460, 28 February 2010 > From: HalleysComet > Date: Sun, 28 Feb 2010 18:18:00 -0500 > > The reality is, yeast, when eaten, is pretty harmless stuff.
